PalmOS 4.0 and SMS API's

I want to experiment with the PalmOS 4.0 SMS capabilities.
I was wondering if the emulator can fake the support of
receiving/sending SMS messages.

If so, where can I find docs on how to do this, or can someone give
me some pointers.
