I guess my printer model is not compatible with IrDA protocols. I
downloaded IrPad. When I send an "aaaa" string the printer prints
various extended ascii chars. So I download the trial version of
IrPrint, and it did the same! So I downloaded IrLink to test the
printer. IrLink have a Device Discovery feature to point-and-detect
any IrDA device. When I press the button "detect" it remains
detecting and returns a "no device detected" messagem while the
printer starts to print many extended ascii chars.
The printer model is HP 82240B. I have no manual with specifications,
and I found nothing about this printer at hp.com.
Does anyone knows if this printer is IrDA, IrCOMM and IrLPT
compatible?

Thanks.
