It is something else. The Hotsync timeout problem also affects USB
synchronization with Handspring devices when using Palm's Hotsync
Manager 4.0. Palm has already developed an internal fix -- I've seen it
work. However, I don't know when they are planning on releasing it as a
HotSync Manager update.
