Iam experiencing the similar problem with my application in which I have an
ultarlite database and do query the tables based on user input during run
time.
In short, based on search criteria from the user I will be querying
ultarlite tables which hold the data on the device.
My problem is, the processing speed of my application get relatively
slowdown as I continue executing the queries more number of times (say 8-10
times).
>From the Docs I read that SQL query involving "like% " does hit the
performance. I just replaced it, but with not much change in performance
speed.
BTW Once I exit from the application and enter, the speed will be normal and
get slower again after few transactions.
Can any body throw light on these perfomance issues pls

hi all,
My application got 5 database. 2 for query and 3 for transaction.
One of the database for storing all the order detail line that i created on
palm.
When the total record growth up to 80 above, the processing speed become
slower relatively.
If i want to stop the application (tapped on 'home' icon on the silk
screen), it will longer time to jump back to menu screen.
I would like to know how to avoid this type of situation happened again.
