Technically...

I think you *could* do it if you wrote fully optimized assembly (which
still threw some data out) and it might be worth the effort as an
interesting hack on the Handera which has a better speaker.

But it would still be an interesting hack and not a useful product.

Apparently Sony has been reading my ancient posts about including a
DSP in the next gen Palm device.
