I used the "old" KVM virtual java machine for some time, until I discovered
the limitations of both the platform and SUN's license. Then I turned to
LispMe (http://www.lispme.de) which is more limited in some ways but gives a
lot better access to standard palm features like forms. In addition, it's a
lot easier to tailor to your own needs. It's open-source (GPL) and
relatively easy to extend, e.g. I've added GUI functions, rectangle objects
and stroke functions, as well as made deaper changes, in cooperation with
its main developer (Fred Bayer).
