I saw a post and reply in the egroups archive regarding trouble registering a conduit, however I can not find the post in my news reader for some reason so I can't reply to it directly. However, I am having the same problem. Sometimes on some machines I have trouble registering a conduit and other times it works fine. Actually it registers just fine but does not show up in the Custom dialog of the HotSync manager. There are a number of steps I take to look for problems but sometimes these don't indicate any problems. I use the dependency walker to make sure that all the conduit's dependencies are satisfied. I make sure that I am using hotsyncd.exe with debug conduits and hotsync.exe with release conduits. I check that I have the latest version of hotsync.exe and condcfg.exe.
