(1) Buttons are not gray-ed out in PalmOS. When not applicable,
have them pop up a message saying so (and why).
(2) Passwords should not be masked (when keyed in),
so that the user can see if he/she did it correctly.
Grafitti errors are just too common to do it any other way.
(3) Show/hide private records will hardly "declare a
password private". Any application can open your database
and look at any time. You might hash the password (via a
decent hashing algorithm) instead.

Subject: gray out buttons

hello,
can anyone tell me what is the code to gray out a button/disable?
also, is there a way to mask the password of an application, how do I use
the show/hide private records to declare a password private in an
application I wrote.

thanks! :)
