Three months ago I reported a problem with the CodeWarrior compiler
leaving dead jump code in large applications. This was assigned bug
#WB1-21838. I followed up on it regularly for a couple of months and
was told it was being worked on. It still doesn't seem to have been
fixed in the new release. In our case, there are over 2000 instances
of this ten-byte dead code sequence, wasting more than 20k of code.
I assume that many other applications have the same problem, whether
the developers realise it or not. Do you have any idea when this is
likely to be fixed? Given the Palm's memory constraints, it seems
like a pretty critical bug.
