Subject: CW6/Emulator 3.2 error - seen this?
Hi,
I've been getting a strange error when switching from my app to the
AppLauncher on the v3.2 emulator.
To simplify the test case, I just created a fresh "Starter" project in
CW,
and it has the same problem. Can I safely ignore this error? Has anyone
seen this before?
Setup:
* using CW 6 and Emulator 3.2, with OS 4.0 full debug ROM (english or
french), 8192K
* Create new project in CW, with the following options (using SDK 3.5):
- Palm OS 3.1 (English) Stationery
- Palm OS C++ App
Repro:
1. Start emulator.
2. Go to Calculator app.
3. Drag Starter.prc from desktop to emulator.
4. In emulator, go to app launcher.
5. Run Starter
6. Tap the app launcher silkscreen button.
Expected:
App launcher screen.
Got:
Error window with the following text:
UIAppShell (unknown version) called SysFatalAlert with the
message:
"SystemMgr.c, Line:4804, Minor error found while exiting app,
un-freed
chunk at 0x00004664 (ownerID 2)".
Thanks,
Jaba
