First off, I'm new to Palm development, so if I've overlooked this topic as
I've browsed through the Palm documentation forgive me. My original
intention was to create a pqa with an html form. My problem is that I need
to validate the form on the client side. I've read in the pqa forum that
client side form validation is not always possible because of size
limitations with the getURL string.

So...I'm still strapped with the problem of creating a form, validating it
on the client side, and sending it out via a wirless connection to our
server for processing. The problem with the WCA approach is that this
technology is primarily designed for the user to get something via a
wireless connection. My application will be designed primarily for data
entry via a remote wireless connection. They won't be getting sports
scores or really anything in return (for awhile anyhow). So...it looks
like I'm stuck with creating an application instead of a WCA if I have to
have client side form validation.

Can a Palm Application using a form be validated on the client side and
later transmitted over the internet. The other thing I'm thinking of is
how I'm going to extract the information on the server side if I build the
form using a Palm Application. Any thoughts? Has anyone done this? Can
anyone suggest Palm Training courses that will help me know how to do this?

Thanks,

Lisa Gifford
