Yes, that was a way to show how it "can be" done, .i.e. technically. And yes, copy
paste, and keybd have to be handled.
Now, this to be weighed against whether to use it or not is a different matter. Its an
altogether different matter that i do agree to that this is annoying to the user who
is entering by graffiti, so better NOT to mask input.

Blah... blah... blah...
Why bother hiding input at all? How big is the screen? How many other
people would physically be able to see what you input in the field? Is it
justtified in terms of a) effor to do so; and b) discomfort to the user? I
personally find it really annoying when I enter the password with graffity
and it gets masked, so to make sure I enter what I really mean I always
have to fire up the keyboard...
