I don't have the answer to your question, but IMHO this would seem *really*
too hardware specific
and could get you in trouble down the road as Palm could move IRQs around in
later devices.
Of course if your application is just a "one-off" to use in the lab or
something and you don't ever
plan on distributing your s/w, then it's probably not a problem.
But hey, that's just me :-)
