This is an error in the old Lite version (I didn't think there were links
left to this, though maybe you installed it off a CD in a book). In that
version of the IDE in Lite, creating a new project and giving it a certain
name, means that the IDE will try to figure out the new project name and
change the output file name for you. (Previously, the name of the output
file was left alone i.e. "starter.tmp"). This works fine for desktop
targets with no post linker, but for the Palm tools, it messes up the
linkage. The workaround would be to manually open the project settings, go
into the PalmRez Post Linker panel and make sure name in the Mac Resource
input file field is the same as the filename in the 68K Target panel.
That should take care of your link error. This error does not exist in
the full version.
