Yes and no. Yes, you can modify the tAIN 1000 resource, just like any other.
But the Launcher caches this data, so you might have some trouble convincing
the Launcher to void its cache. If you decide to do this, be sure to test on
all versions of Palm OS and don't assume it'll keep working on new versions.

See DmGetNextDatabaseByTypeCreator and SysCreateDataBaseList in the docs. As
Stephan pointed out, applications are resource databases with type 'appl'.
