Actually there is a way to do this, Look at sample
code

another thing you will need to do is also create a
"storage memory resident" call back so that your
wakeup handler can be found, this all gets pretty
tricky, I just got done implementing a serial keyboard
driver that does some of the things that you want, but
the above should get you started. 

Maybe I will post my code some day, when I get around
to it :-)
