StrToLower

hello,
I write:

tmp=StrToLower(tmp,"AD");

and There is this error:

"Projet (1.0) just wrote to memory location 0x0001B61A, which is in the
storage heap. In order to protect the integrity of the user's data, such
direct access is not allowed. Instead, applications should use special Palm
OS functions for this purpose."

Why?
