I don't know exactly what's going on, but the CW IDE does have a
diagnostic tool that might be able to help. Under "Edit/Preferences",
go to "General/Plugin Settings". Set the diagnostics level to "All
Info". Then, restart the IDE and look at the log window and see if
there are any error messages related to the SourceSafe plugin.
