It may make your life easier, but it is a big deal. There's stuff about
this in the archives if you want to look it up, but it has to do with the
licensing of the kernel. (Is is Kadak? My memory isn't perfect.) If Palm
has licensed the kernel, they don't necessarily have the right to share that
source code with you.
