Hi All, We have released a new C++ development tool for the Palm OS named M.LABS mobileStudio C++ (MC++). It is a visual IDE integrated with MobileSoft Framework (MFW), a lightweight C++ Framework that we have developed., similar in concept to Microsoft's MFC (Visual C++'s Win32 framework). Benefits: * MC++ enable C++ developers who are experienced and familiar with programming on the Windows platform to painlessly and efficiently transit over to development on the Palm. * With MFW, it is possible to write professional, full-featured Palm OS applications in a fraction of the time it would take using C and other application frameworks. * Furthermore, it does this without incurring the overhead of a run- time engine that alternative Rapid Application Development (RAD) platforms require. * MFW offers a high level of abstraction that allows developers to focus on the details or business logic of the application while allowing its classes to be customized and extended. Features: * Fully visual integrated development environment, alike to Microsoft's Visual Studio VC++. * MobileSoft Framework (MFW), a set of extensible C++ classes and sub-classes. * Class Browser, Resource Editor, Bitmap Editor, and other developer productivity tools, etc. * ClassWizard to handle event mapping * Multi-segment Wizard, drag and drop classes into specific code segment * Compiler and Debugger based on the GCC tool chain. * Wizards and integrated Help for increased productivity. We welcome everyone to have a look at MC++ and especially we shall be grateful for any comments.
