Trying to poll on a socket with INetLibSockStatus() and I've run into some weird behavior. On the Palm VII emulator, the INetLibSockStatus() status state goes from inetStatusNameResolved -> inetStatusConnecting -> inetStatusNew. It never leaves the inetStatusNew state. Not sure what inetStatusNew might mean. Is the connect failing? Trying it on the device, the status state seems to follow a more normal course (resolved -> connecting -> sendingrequest -> waitingforresponse -> etc). Same program, different behavior between the emulator and the Palm VIIx.
