Hi,

I have several question regarding how to integrate an app with the api
scheme that MultiMail Pro3.1 provides.
The two key issues I've been trying to figure out are:

1. Launching our app by clicking on an attachment on a mail.
I know that there are some standard file extensions supported. I was
wondering if anyone knows how one can add a custom file extension attachment
(and corresponding plugin) to have the desired behavior.

2. Sending an attachment programmatically.
There is the api function MMProISendLaunch() - but I want to be able to send
an email and attachment silently - or at least - pre fill the text *and*
define the attachment programmatically, and *then* have the MM UI be brought
up (so the user can add more text to the body if needed, and send the email
explicitly).

I'd be really grateful if I get any clues in this area. I sent email
questions to actual soft support, but the email address posted appears not
to be working (namely: [EMAIL PROTECTED]).

btw... I am also interested in the best solution on PalmOS4.0. If it were
possible to launch our app with parameters by having a user click on a url
in the email body - that would be ideal !! I was wondering if the new url
scheme functionality in 4.0 will allow such an integration, and whether the
MultiMail version in 4.0 supports this. My understanding of url schemes is
that it is primarily meant to trigger a (possibly custom) exchange library
in some way - and not an application with a UI etc.

Again, any clues would be much appreciated !!

thanks,

Sincerely,
