My PC was infected with the sircam and have cleaned it already, but before i
realized that it was infected, it must have sent thousands of emails to many
in this forum, because all the emails do contain the personal addresses.
Some emails were being sent back and that is how i realized that my pc was
infected and Norton did not catch it.
I am sorry if you got any emails from my pc... :o((

Yes, you are correct, and that is a fact I am aware of. But still, that
means one less point of failure/problem if the server rejects attachments,
albeit a relatively minor one.

It doesn't matter if the list server rejects attachments if the infected
machine has your personal email address in it. It will stop the
attachments from going to the whole list, but not directly to you.
