"Slick" is all I can say!! This works:
Form := FrmGetActiveForm;
ListIndex := FrmGetObjectIndex(Form, ListVariety);
List := FrmGetObjectPtr(Form, ListIndex);
P := LstGetSelectionText(List, Selection);
FrmCustomAlert(AlertError, P, '', '');
Now I am ready for another suggestion on the "best way to use lists". I
started another thread for this one *and* I hope I do not wear out my
welcome *and* I hope some lurkers are gaining some insight into the "art
of programming the Palm" from my questions. The "Bible" is great, but
some of the examples are not that clear.
