Thanks to the generous help of members of this forum, I am being to get
some feel for the Palm OS (a long ways yet to go, though). DB's are my
greatest interest and thanks to Pocket Studio, their DB wizard creates a
framework with ease. But, as I see it, that is just the beginning.

My learning app (List of wines from our area in Sonoma County) has a
field, Variety. I want to duplicate some apps I have seen where one
clicks on the "v" icon and up pops a list. Well, this is great if one
has entered all of the varieties ahead of time, but that is not possible
nor a good idea (I may not like a Chardenay!). So, I want to have those
fields, "<Edit>" and "<New>" and when one selects one of these fields,
one goes to a DB within the DB (boy oh boy...this will get complicated).

Now my question is how does one store items in a DB *and* then add them
to the List at run time? Is there an example in the "Bible"?
