Lock Palm Into An App

Is there an easy way to totally lock the palm into an application that I'm
writing??  I am interested in starting an app and not letting the user out
of it until a timer counts down to zero.  I want to make it so no buttons or
shortcut keys or commands can get you out of the program.  Can this be
done???? How??
