As one of the engineers that works on CodeWarrior, I recommend that
people only use small unless there is a very unusual need. The large
and smart models were really designed for the Macintosh, where it was
possible to have segments that exceeded 64K. Since your segments can't
get too large on Palm OS, there's no reason to use large, and it just
adds unneeded bulk to your code. Why is a 10% increase alright? For a
60K code segment, that is about 6K of space your app would use on my
Palm that it doesn't need.
