I have a simple b&w bitmap (273x374 pixels) that I'm trying to paste into a
bitmap resource with the same dimensions.� The paste works fine but when I
close the resource window and then open it back up the bitmap has been
changed to a lot of vertical colored lines and other garbage.� The original
bitmap is a very simple county map with just the outline of the county.� I'm
setting the dimensions of the resource and the color to b&w (1-bit depth)
before I paste the bitmap into the resource.�
Other problems with Constructor include crashes when I try to save the
project and the bitmap resource not opening when I double-click on it.
I've applied Update 1 for Palm OS 3.5 on a machine running WinME.� the
constructor version is 1.5b7.� On a different machine (Win98) I just
installed CW 7 (Constructor version 1.5b7) and have similar problems:
Constructor crashes or won't display the bitmap resource after I've closed
the bitmap window and try to reopen it.
Is there a machine/OS/CW configuration that doesn't have these problems?
Are there resonable alternative to using Constructor?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
