program in c++ conduit in java?

Hi!

Iï¿½m trying to write an application that will save things in a database on 
the Palm, then after HotSync the information will be saved in another 
database within a network. This application has been developed in JAVA but 
the answeringtimes are very long. Now Iï¿½m trying to rewrite the application 
in C++ and I wonder if I still can use the conduit developed in java?
