Actually, I think this is just the way PalmOS v3.1 works -- annoying, but true. I was frustrated when I compared the behavior of my program's scrolling field with Memo Pad, but I was comparing it with the behavior of Memo Pad on Palm OS v3.5, while my program was running in POSE on a 3.1 ROM. On my Handspring Visor (PalmOS v3.1), and on POSE with a 3.1 ROM, Memo Pad displays the same undesirable behavior my program did. On PalmOS v3.5, my program works as I would expect. So it looks like PalmOS v3.1 fails to generate fldChangedEvents in this case. I guess if it's good enough for Memo Pad, though, it'll do for my app. -Stan -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/tech/support/forums/
