I think the dialog is a good thing the first time the user does this action,
but after that, it's tedious. I think you should be able to directly set the
preference to bypass all dialogs, like this:
PrefSetPreference(prefShowPrivateRecords, maskPrivateRecords);
or
PrefSetPreference(prefShowPrivateRecords, hidePrivateRecords);
I can't guarantee that this will keep working in future OS versions.
