Thank you for reminding me of several issues. Note: I am using Excel
because the datasource was originally defined in Excel. Users won't want to
sync to this unless they have it. But... what about the user who just
wants to sync for backup and use the app on the handheld. You've reminded
me that in the absence of software that the conduit requires, I should fall
back to writing a CSV and/or just allowing the Hotsync process to deposit
the PDB in the backup directory.

Another valuable point, although when I sync to outlook that's what
happens, and my IT department seems to think this is fine. Maybe because
the batteries were mostly rechargable, but what about all those Palm VIIs
they just gave me. THAT is where my batteries are going :)

The "Simple, Elegant, Useful" philosophy of the Palm calls for the data to
be synced to where it has to go without intermediate steps, but that
assumes that the installation of the conduit will validate that the
environment is there to allow this to be successful.

Again, thanks for reminding me of some valuable issues.
