I think you are talking about the Pilot Doc format. Search for "Palm" on
www.wotsit.org besides doc format you'll get a lot of other useful pointers.
I would like to add some points in your knowledge that may help you while
building your document reader or your document file.
- Though the Bookmark format is a standard one but I have come across the
programs where due to some bugs the book mark record size went higher by six
bytes or so from the standard record size.
- There are programs out there which will crash if there are no book
marks in document. So remember to add some <BOOKMARK>
- Some doc readers try to make the files read only by using the "Read" as
the creator id of document and some even refuse to list the documents that
don't follow these conventions.
