The PrvFixupPointers bugs came into existence when the various dynamic UI
functions were added to Palm OS in version 3.0. It was fixed in Palm OS 4.0.
Then an update was released to provide the fix to devices running Palm OS
3.5. This update is version 3.5.3. So applications can rely on correct
behavior in OS versions greater than or equal to 3.5.3.
