I forgot to include this in my last rant, but this is one of the most
valid of Mr. Davis' criticisms.  The non-standard (some would say
"funky") data storage mechanism used on the PalmOS has got
to go.  What's wrong with files anyway, Palm?

A true filesystem is necessary.  It's not just a Wintel thing, Palm.
Unix, VMS ... even Macintosh use files & folders.  People understand
them and are comfortable with them.

If you do use files & folders, you should probably incorporate some
sort of link (aka shortcut) mechanism, so that the same file can appear
in multiple places in the hierarchy ...
