They've failed the test again. It's Tuesday, September 18th, and
logging into the Provider Pavillion still returns the error:
Member Hardware Discount Program
The Palm Alliance Membership discount order form is currently
offline for updates and will be back online Tuesday, September 18,
2001.
If anyone knows a contact I can call directly, or email, please let
me know. This is now seriously cramping my ability to support Palm, since I
can no longer obtain information or hardware to develop against.
Also, does anyone know when the Serial Cradles will be shipping?
I've just received my regularly scheduled bi-weekly message that it is still
on backorder:
Thank you for shopping with Palm, Inc. Our records indicate that
you have placed an order with us. Unfortunately, as of 09/17/2001
we have not received shipment into our warehouse to process your
order.
You will continue to receive a bi-weekly email with your order
status until your shipment is processed. We apologize for the
inconvenience this may have caused you.
I've had this serial cradle on order for at least 5 months now, and
have bi-weekly emails going back that far, one every two weeks. The last one
prior to this was on 8/20/2001. Has anyone gotten an m505 serial cradle from
Palm recently?
I'm wondering if these two "aonmalies" aren't somehow related.
