You could make your conduit set a Boolean in the app info block. I'm not
very familiar with the conduit API's, but I'm sure you can come up with
something.

Or just use DmRemoveRecord to begin with if the user hasn't run your conduit
yet. I'm not sure what it takes to remove a deleted record; it's not
something that's normally done except via the conduit API.
