I can't really help you with your problem but I would say that
Firepad is accessing special registers, not going through the Palm API to do some of
there drawing. If you are just looking to put images in your application, you can use
PalmImageDB at consiliumsoft.com. I just released it and it is free. Check it out if
you like. I hope it helps.
