Hi Jeremy! I have used the code from an example(contacts) that comes along with falch.net. They used dmMaxRecordIndex but they had more than one record... That's why I used maxIdLength and maxNameLength, and StrNCopy
I would really want some help with my function. Do you have any better example to write a function that reads from a database. I will also need to write a function that reads from a database where I dont know how many records and I dont know how long they are, should I use dmMaxRecordIndex and StrLen() then?? When I created the record that I try to read from now I used dmNewReceord with dmMaxRecordIndex. As you can see I'm a newbee to this and I am really grateful for any help. Do you know if there is somewhere that I can look at examples with databases, maybee you have a link or maybee if you have an example yourself!! The examples in falch.net only had one about databases (and it was not a very good example) and it is written in C, not C++. Many, many thanks!!!
