Hi all,

I'm writing an application to handle files on expansion cards.
This application currently works well with Sony's devices, due to the fact I
can work with thier specific Sony-POSE to emulate card insertions/removals.
As you might know, Sony created a special skin for their ROMs with extra
buttons, to emulate their card. ("In"/"Out" modes)

It looks like this operation isn't possible for Palm devices such as m505,
with any POSE version including ver3.3, with or without the "full" ROM, or
the 'HostFS.prc'.
I just don't see any way to emulate card insertions for Palm devices - as
they actually work on real devices.

When changing the "Mounted" checkbox in the Settings->Cards, there is no
call to the VFS notifying there's a card in the device or anything.
Actually, when doing so, the POSE (v3.3) crashes, saying "Applications (4.0)
just executed an illegal or unknown machine language instruction. The opcode
executed was 0xA0AD".

Even the application called "Card Info" that comes with the PalmOS, which is
supposed to handle expansion cards - doesn't recognize any card in the
device...

So, my question is, is there any way to emulate card insertion/removal for
Palm devices?

PalmOS developers, Is there going to be a special skin for Palm devices with
expansion card slots as well?

Any help/idea would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
