DmAttachResource is like DmAttachRecord, but for a resource database. Both of these APIs are meant to be used in conjunction with DmNewHandle. You probably just want to use DmNewResource to create the records in your resource database. Of course, you'll need to fill in the record with data, copying it from the existing resource.
