I had the include folder there, but I was using <string>.... To add the .lib, click on one of your project groups (folders) in your .mcp Project View, or wherever you want to put it. Then click 'Project'->Add Files...
In the 'Segments' tab you may want to put the .lib at the top (drag and drop).
