Hi ! I'm developing an handwriting recognition input method on Palm to replace Graffiti. I'm using CodeWarrior 7.0 under Windows. I already have my recognition engine working on Palm OS, but now I would like to integrate it to the system as an input method to replace Graffiti in order to be able to write characters in the Graffiti area and send the recognized characters to the current application.
Do I have to write a hackmaster hack to achieve that ? (Is there another way than writing a hack ?) Does anyone knows what system functions I have to hack in order to get the strokes from the Graffiti area, send them to my recognition engine and then send the recognized characters to the current application ? Also my recognition engine can recognize multi strokes character, so I don't know if just hacking GrfProcessStrokes will be enough ... Any help, or sample code would be greatly appreciated !!
