FWIW, R8 works OK on my PowerBook G4 running Mac OS 9.2.1. I did a merged install with CW Pro R7 and upgraded all my (single segment) projects from R6. Code size is up slightly from R6 and the Palm plugin for transfer to POSE 3.3 still needs work (hung my machine once so far) but otherwise business as usual.
