After moving from prc-tools 2.0 to prc-tools 2.0.91 (on my Linux
platform, gcc 2.91.66 = egcs 1.1.2), I have been experiencing some very
strange behaviour of my recompiled PalmOS applications:
* In POSE, all my multi-segmented apps crash. Translation of these
programs conforms exactly to the "multipl code resources" section of the
"Using PRC-Tools" (no obj-res etc.)
- First I get "... just wrote to memory location 0x0000002C ... low
memory blah" messages.
- Finally, the apps crash with an address error.
My first attempt to install prc-tools 2.0.91 was to compile everything
from the sources, today I installed the binary distribution from
sourceforge.org - same results appear for both versions.
All these applications work without any problems after being built with
the older prc-tools 2.0.
Anyone out there who had to struggle with the same or similar problems?
I need to move to 2.0.91 in order to debug multi-segmented C++
applications (using T. van Overbeek's patches).
Cheers,
