Make sure you have all the error reporting turned on in POSE.  In the POSE
menu, check all the boxes in "Settings -> Debugging" ("Alt + \").  If these
aren't on, they won't warn you when you do Very Bad Things.  Also, if you
aren't already doing this, make sure your emulator session has the same ROM
version as the device you are using for testing.
