I use a number of graphic buttons in my application. Since I want to preserve compatibility with Palm OS version 3.0, rather than use the built in graphic button capability, I put a button with no label over a bitmap graphic. This works fine, but has some subtle side effects on color displays. On a color display a normal button highlights by turning the normally white background blue. On a button with no label, the background is turned black when the button is highlighted. Is there a way to overcome this problem.
