This is a new policy that PalmGear is adopting to keep people from "freeloading" .. using PalmGear's server space and bandwidth and giving them back nothing in return. From an ethical standpoint (and from a long term business point of view for that matter, if everyone did what you did, there would be no PalmGear), you should always encourage someone registering your software to return to the site where they downloaded it to support that site. If you are too greedy to sell through PalmGear, then you shouldn't be entitled to free advertising at PalmGear, either.
