Something that confuses people when I ask is how to send data via the IR
port to the Nokia 3360 so that it is interpreted as an email. This is
different from using the modem and dialup capabilities of the 3360.

Those of you with a 3360 know how to create an email with the builtin
editor and then send it (I believe I am charged 10 cents for each one -
have not gotten my bill yet). In other words, I am using the SMTP
capabilities of AT&T - not my ISP.

What I would like to be able to do, is send via the IR port from my Palm
Vx to the 3360 and have it interpreted as an email and then be able to
send it via AT&T's SMTP server.

Does anyone have any information on this? I would think that there is
some protocol with the 3360's IR input that would properly process the
data as an email?!?
