As long as you have some sort of network connection out from the PC running POSE you should have little trouble. Don't forget to select "Redirect NetLib" in the POSE Properties dialog.
Software? Whatever you're proficient at basically. Codewarrior, SatForms to name but 2. Hardware? Depends on your requirements. Obviously a Palm device of some description and then some form of network connection. IR to a cell phone, 802.11 sled, CDPD modem, DataTAC modem, Mobitex modem... the list goes on... You really need to ask more succinct questions - that way people can provide you with a better answer instead of simply ignoring you.
